Lyrrie for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Your music stays yours.

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Overview

Lyrrie does not sell personal information, show advertising, or use tracking or analytics. Lyrrie has no developer-operated account system or server.

Spotify connection

Lyrrie connects to the Spotify app on your device after you grant permission. The Spotify session is stored securely in your iPhone’s Keychain so Lyrrie can reconnect. The developer does not receive your Spotify password, access token, or refresh token.

Spotify provides Lyrrie with information about the song currently playing, including its title, artist, album, duration, playback state, and artwork. Spotify’s handling of information is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Finding synchronized lyrics

To find synchronized lyrics, Lyrrie sends song information such as title, artist, album, and duration over encrypted connections to third-party lyrics services. Those services may process requests under their own terms and privacy practices.

Lyrics content

Lyrics may contain explicit language or mature themes. Lyrrie does not create, edit, moderate, or control third-party lyrics content and cannot guarantee that it is accurate or suitable for every listener.

Data stored on your device

Lyrics, provider choices, synchronization information, and a small rotating diagnostic log are stored locally on your iPhone. Diagnostic logs are not uploaded automatically and are designed to exclude Spotify credentials. You can clear the lyrics cache from Lyrrie’s settings. Removing the app deletes its cache and diagnostic files. A Spotify session stored in Apple’s Keychain may remain on the device after removal; you can revoke Lyrrie’s access at any time from your Spotify account’s connected-apps settings.

Support

If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to include in your email. Please do not send passwords or Spotify authorization credentials.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as Lyrrie evolves. The latest version and its revision date will remain available on this page.
